See where the month is heading, and what's getting pricier
Your receipts already hold the answers: what this month will cost, which category is running away, which subscription quietly went up, and where your usual groceries are cheapest. Insights work them out from your own ledger, on the web and on iPhone.
01 / 05
A month-end forecast you can act on
Sorayli projects the month from how you actually spend: the median of your last 14 days, quiet days included, so one big receipt doesn't double the forecast. Bills you've marked as recurring that are still due this month are added on top, because a run of small days never sees the rent coming.
Against what you usually earn (the median of your last three full months), that gives you one number for today: how much is safe to spend each day until the month ends.

02 / 05
Category momentum, without the false alarms
Each category is compared with last month and with the average of up to six months before it, with sub-categories folded into their parent. Mid-month, the comparison is scaled to how much of the month has passed, so rent that isn't due yet doesn't read as a 90% drop.
A category is only flagged as a spike or a drop when the change is both statistically unusual for you and at least a tenth of its average, so a steady category doesn't shout about a small wobble.

03 / 05
Subscriptions that changed behind your back
Mark a charge as recurring once, and Sorayli follows it. Insights add up what your subscriptions cost a month and a year, list what's due in the next 30 days, and point out the three things people miss: a price that crept up, a plan still marked active that has stopped charging, and the same company billing you for two plans.
The list itself, with a reminder email before each renewal, is on every plan. How subscription tracking works.

04 / 05
A price tracker for what you actually buy
Because a scan keeps every line of the receipt, Sorayli can follow a product across months and shops. Names are matched the way a person would read them, so “MILK 1L x2” and “Milk 1L” are one product, while sizes stay apart: a litre and half a litre are different prices.
A product is tracked once you've bought it twice at least a week apart. For each one you see its latest price at every shop, cheapest first, and your basket inflation: how much the things you keep buying have gone up, weighted by what you spend on them. How to track grocery price increases.
05 / 05
Where your money goes, shop by shop
Your top shops, with their share of your spending, how many times you went and how that compares with the same stretch of days before. Different spellings of one shop, from different receipts, are merged into one.

On your iPhone, only when there's something to say
- Once a week
- One push with the single most useful thing the numbers say: a subscription that went up, a category spiking, a plan that stopped charging, your basket, or the forecast. A quiet week sends nothing.
- Saturday morning
- Before the weekend shop: the one shop where the most of what you buy is cheapest, with up to three of those products named.
- How to get them
- Turn on push notifications and weekly reports in the iPhone app's Settings. Both pushes come with Pro and Family.

What your discounts added up to
Every discount printed on a scanned receipt is counted: your total for the year, month by month and shop by shop. On the first of each month, an iPhone push tells you what you saved in the month before, when you saved anything. This part is free.
