What did that foreign receipt cost in your currency?
Enter the lines from a receipt paid abroad and the date on it. Each line is converted at that day's exchange rate, not today's, which is the number that belongs in your budget.
Lines on the receipt

Why your card statement may differ
Your bank or card network converts at its own rate, sometimes on the day the payment settles rather than the day you paid, and may add a foreign transaction fee. This shows the market rate for the receipt's date.
Scan it instead of typing it
Sorayli reads a foreign receipt line by line, keeps the amount you paid in its own currency, and converts it at that day's rate automatically.
Which rate it uses
The daily rate for the date on the receipt. Rates are published once a day, so a purchase on a weekend or holiday uses the most recent day before it. Dates from 2 March 2024 to today are covered, in 149 currencies.
This is the same lookup Sorayli uses when you save a purchase in another currency, so what you see here is what the app would record. How multi-currency tracking works.
Totals and rounding
Each line is converted and rounded on its own, and the total is converted from the receipt's total, so the lines can add up to a cent more or less than the total. Your budget should use the total.
Nothing you type is stored. The only thing sent to Sorayli is the pair of currencies and the date, to look up the rate.
